I can't take the bad grammar, ignorant speak, misspelled words, run-on sentences anymore, like:

"so my mom returns my boss phone call which they were discussing my work performance so my mother takes up for me by saying how much of a good worker i am and that she shoukd be more concerned with the other employes who steal cuss come in when they want to. my mother never gave any names so my boss tells this girl who has had my back from day one since i started working there that my mother was talking about her. "

It ain't so! :) lol******* You aren't alone!

It gives me a headache trying to figure out where one sentence ends and the next begins. UGH...Don't get me wrong...I misspell an occasional word here and there but we are talking about "minor mistakes".

You have to understand that not everyone has the same level of education, don't speak the same language, or never had the opportunity to be educated in the first place. While such questions can be hard to understand, if you take a little time, most of the time you can figure out what they are trying to say.

If you hate illiteracy so much, what are you doing to try to improve the illiteracy problem? Have you considered trying to help someone learn to read or write? There are often programs at small colleges and some charities that would love for you to volunteer some of your time to help these people. If there is none in your area, consider starting one.

I just hope what I see here is a skewed sample. This forum has the potential to be a highly valuable and interesting community, but not everyone here is up for making a positive contribution to that potential. My question about OJ got 17 answers, while my question about respect got two. I'm not sure how much more time I'm willing to give to this.

"Like I don't know like this is so bad like you know what I mean like can't anyone write without like you know all the stuff. " Yes, I detest trying to decipher those type of pseudo-questions.
