This is universal, and not unique to YA. Some people come here to seek and/or share knowledge, opinion, discussion, and respectful debate. Others abuse freedom of speech to further their own skewed agendas. The wisest route is to remain true to yourself and your beliefs, while keeping an open mind - and either ignore or report anyone that you feel has communicated with you inappropriately. Block emails/senders as needed. Don't respond or engage in any form. As with most things in life - don't sweat the small stuff...and it's all small stuff.

I don't know, but it's true. Recently I had two questions deleted. The strange part was that they were deleted AFTER I had already chose best answer. In the first case, it was obvious that it was a religious nut who resented my question about Haggard. That was clear from the violation report, though of course they don't tell you who reported you. The other was for personal chatting, presumably because I used "added details" to reply to an idiot who personally attacked me first in his answer. I believe they then reported me which resulted in a violation. People who do this sort of thing simply because they don't like what you have to say I consider to be whiny, petulant and extremely immature. But, ya gotta let it roll off your back! It's the Internet, there's all sorts of people who use it who are less mature than my 7 year old nephew. What are ya gonna do? Don't let it get to you is my advice.

The two of you claiming it's liberals are full of hot air. The tenor of my questions ran to the liberal side - it could only have been ultra-conservatives who reported me. There's stupid people on both sides of the political angle.

I'd like to know too. Some person has e-mailed me a few times with racist remarks and when I pointed out her errors/contradictions/ stupidity in a reply, she sent me one last ridiculous e-mail and disabled e-mail.
What a coward.
Not only that, some other guy who's obsessed with circumcision has sent me one nasty e-mail: http://i13.tinypic.com/4hd8g1e.jpg
All I did was make a joke about steel toe boots and male genitalia, something my MALE teacher did.
This is his profile: http://answers.yahoo.com/my/profile?show=90c04b9b2f77ba320a53dcf7fea990fbaa

Not me. I get mad if they are just being obnoxious for the fun of it. If they are obnoxious and don't know it then you can understand.

Of course you are talking about liberals, these vile scumbags dish out hate on a daily basis but when you give it back to them they whine and report you. Liberals suck.
