Gamecube is not a high money maker. I sold mine on e-bay with several games, 4 controllers, and 2 memory cards. I think that I only got about $80 for it. Sell it and take what you can get!!

Don't bother. You can use all of your Gamecube games, controllers, and memory cards on the Wii.
Supposedly, you will be able to use the Gamecube controllers on the virtual console games as well (unconfirmed), and might be able to use them in the new Super Smash Brothers: Brawl game.

I'm selling my GameCube too! You may sell it depending on how good is it, and how old is it. The standard price is US $24.99 with cable cord and AV Cable. I would recommend that you sell it ONLINE to earn from US $29.99 - $49.99
