The only m o I know is modus operandi, it is latin and usually used as a police term. It means usual way of doing things. Police often look for a crooks m o, (usual way of doing things) to help find the perp. If someone asks you your m o for doing homework for example, you might do it before dinner, before bed, or in study hall. That would be your homework m o.
