What is Halo Wars?

Question

I have always knew about Halo3 but Halo Wars? I knew it about it a month ago and then I was amazed by its trailer and its ships and such. I need to know the difference and how it happened in the first place.

If it takes place before halo 1 then why in the trailer shows all this advanced weapons that I saw in cheatplanet.com. The spartans make sence to me now. But I even saw these advanced elits and halo 2 energy swords.

I tried ebay but I couldnt find anything about it except other useless stuff.

Halo Wars is a new game that will be released for XBOX360 and it's not similar to the other Halo games, this is kind of a Strategy Game like WarCraft or Age of Empires and it's placed in the time BEFORE Halo 1. Halo wars is a RTS real time strategy game, being developed by esemble studios, the same company that made Age of Empires age of mythology, to the Xbox 360. You can control a squad of spartan soldiers and units and what not. The events and story in this game take place before the first Halo game.ITS because they already had this weapons already, they were just introuduce later like in Halo 2 .

I am pretty sure it is a RTS (Real Time Strategy) for the Xbox 360. Yes I know this sounds crazy but this is what I heard. This storyline takes place before Halo because you are able to control many SPARTANS not just master chief. Also if you do not know what a RTS is it is a game along the lines of Age of Empires and other games like it. Hope this helps.
