there's a temperature sensor in or on the radiator that controls the cooling fan that turn it on if the coolant contained in the bottom of the radiator receives too warmth. As some people pronounced, it does not cool the engine down. It cools down the coolant contained in the radiator really. If it really is an rather warmth day and also you grew to grow to be the engine off durring a severe cycle of the cooling equipment it may run for 10 minutes and by no potential reason a serious drain on the battery. besides the undeniable fact that, if it is going extra the 20 minutes, it extremely is rather functional to have your cooling equipment acknowledged at for a posible concern.

I'm guessing you mean the Heat/AC fan.

1st Check for a blown fuse. If the fuse is good, then:

2nd disconnect the wire to the blower under the hood. With the switches on: use a test light or voltmeter to see if there is power.

3rd: if there is power present, replace fan motor.
If not power, then it is probably the dashboard switch.

1st, check the fuse. 2nd,check your relay switch. 3rd,check the fan motor. most times the problem is a blown fuse,or bad relay switch. all of which are easy to fix,but dont do any thing you are unsure of. do not run the car much without the fan working.

That is really strange my friends camoro is way older and it still works fine. It might be your filter. You should schedule regular maintnence checks. Go to a local mechanic and explain the problem he might not even charge you for just looking at it. Good luck.
