SNES help?

I've had my SUPER METROID game since it came out and recently I've started to play it again for fun but my battery is dead cuz I was almost gonna beat the game and the game data was erased twice!!! So does anyone know if I can replace the battery myself? What kind of battery does it use?

you should get a security bit that will open the game first - you can find them on ebay for less than four dollars usually as part of a cleaning kit

inside the game looks like a computer chip. all green and little metal bumps wires, black squares etc...

the battery is a CR-something or other, and are easily found in most drug stores like CVS, Eckards, Rite Aid, etc..

then just get someone to solder it in for you - don't use glue

take it apart... its like a comp it has a little battery... its like a type that u put in watches...
