I am horrified that the name Longfellow Deeds is associated withn Adam Sandler, possibly the worst actor ever. The original Longfellow Deeds was played by Gary Cooper in the film "Mr. Deeds Goes To Town" (1936). Recasting a Gary Cooper role with Adam Sandler is like remaking Citizen Kane with Tom Green.
