do you think that it is weird for two people to love each other, yet hate each other at the same time? like, that person drives you insane and fills you with so much rage, yet you can't stop loving them and you'd do anything for them? do you think that's weird?

It's terrible and wonderful and dangerous and magical. It's the love that Henry Miller and his wife June had. It has been the passion that has created some of the most magnificent art the world has ever seen. It is the love by which even Venus may slay. It's a wildfire that will burn to ashes and leave nothing behind.
Being an all-consuming love, it is certainly not a love you can build a stable and safe home and future with. Live and love it when you are young and you will remember it all your life. I can't tell you if that's a good thing or not as every other love will be tame in comparison. It's up to you if you want to drink from that fountain and have that mad, glorious experience.

Well...I once heard that love and hate are both different sides on the same coin, and that the true opposite of love is apathy. I don't know, though, I believe it's wrong to hate... I can understand the complex emotions that a tumultous relationship entails very well, though :)
