Can anyone provide a reason for how immediatly pulling out of Iraq would be the best plan of action?

(Note: I don't believe this to be a good plan, but some support it, so I challenge them to provide a good reason)

Does not matter if that would be best. We are there until a stable friendly pro US government it set in place.

After Bush's disastrous plan of invading another country that did not attack us, we have an unbelievable mess in Iraq. There is almost no plan that will be a success. To leave immediately will leave a mess. To stay longer will probably make even more of a mess. After Bush's debacle, there is danger that didn't exist before, that the terrorists he most successfully introduced to Iraq will have control of Iraq's oil - not a good result for obvious reasons. But, the longer we stay there, the likelihood that their numbers there will increase goes up. Bush has made this a lose lose scenario for all of us. Probably the only plan that might have a chance would be for us to turn this over to some pan Arab military force, which does not exist, to settle the problem. I believe he knew this would happen and wanted us to be in the position that we would have to stay for at least another ten years or it would blow up on the world stage. Then we would be in control of Iraq's oil. If we stay, it might break us.

No, an instantaneous withdrawl could advise an all-out civil conflict in Iraq. you think of issues are undesirable now, eliminate the U. S. military and issues gets a lot, a lot worse. This civil conflict could probable destabilize the area and bring about a scarcity an oil production and an significant enhance interior the value of crude oil. no remember if we like it or no longer, we ought to stabilize Iraq in the previous we are able to flow away.

I don't think it's a good plan. It would only create more chaos in an already unstable region. I'm against the war but I'm a realist who knows that this is not the way of resolving the conflict. Liberal democrats are pushing for "redeployment" of troops to other countries. It won't work. The moderates are trying to convince them otherwise and I hope the moderates will win.

The best plan is to start pumping oil to pay for the expense of having a military force to prevent having a civil war it that country.

No, it is not a good idea. We would not be at this point if the politicians had left the fighting to the professionals and stop listening to the liberal media. We pay the Military to know how to handle the war, them don't let them do the job without interference. Ridiculous!

immediate withdrawl would be the most terrible thing for the country. If we withdraw im pretty sure more iraq's will die because thye support democracy.just like vietnam, many vietnamese were killed for supporting us.

Anyone who says that to pull out now is the best plan, are suffering from "self-importance-syndrome".
None of them really have any information about Iraq, and the consequences of pulling out.
They have no more information than the rest of us.
They are "know it alls", that know nothing.

Let's see:

no more dead troops - good thing
more dead troops - bad thing

is that simple enough. when are you people going to realize that 80% of Iraqis want us out and they want us out now. They do not like us occupying their country. Just like we wouldn't want it here.

wake up. do you want to fight this so called war for the next thousand years? that is the way they fight them.

and more than anything, will you armchair, non-combatant, kool drinkers, join the real world and realize the so called war in Iraq is not the war on terror. It is weakening the war on terror.

No, but a plan of action is needed to replace the plan of "treading water" that we have now. A phased withdrawal based on attainable goals would be the best course to take.
