Yes, it does matter. You can love someone until you are blue in the face but if you have money problems it will put a strain on the relationship regardless of your love for them.

I can relate. In my marriage, it's an issue because our bills are behind, our credit reports are ruined, we have no food to eat, etc etc. It's not the reason why I'm with my husband, but it's not good that I was doing better off by myself than I am now. The 2 incomes combined should be a better help than just my income alone.
I would say money is an issue in the respect that you need it to survive and if you don't have it and you're living like poor people, it sucks and and does stress you out and it could cause divorce and separation.
But as far as just being with someone just for their money, that's just straight up being a gold-digging skank.

Money problems are the #1 reason for divorces in the US. So yes I believe it does matter, unfortunatly some people think that it's more important than nurturing their relationship.

I won't lie to you finances are a huge part of most divorces because some people put money first in there lives instead of the love of someone and there feelings. Remember this if you love someone and you come upon hard times look to god for support and hang in there marriage is hard enough then to fight over money.

Nope, money is rarely the cause of divorce. Money just makes your love sweeter. And the lack of it just makes your life more difficult. But it doesn't cause divorce---- resentment causes divorce. Marriage is Admiration, Respect, Passion and Trust. When the Trust is gone because of, say betrayal, the rest of it just sorta falls apart. Betrayal is the dealbuster THE deal buster, not $$$, hon. Rich people get divorces, poor people get divorces.... it ain't money it's the stuff mentioned above.

It matters more to some people than others, but I think that any marriage would be in trouble if the couple doesn't have enough to at least pay for all the basic necessities.

not suuposed 2, but in a $ drivn, loveless, faithless, godless society. . . nearly anything goes.
marriage was created by GOD, however more oft than not, we take GOD out of the union & replace HIM w/ parents, $, friends, etc.
from personal exper, although money among #s of other issues have come up & caused upheavel in our home, when it came down 2 it, what held us 2gether, was not an improved financial sit, or even counseling of any sort. . .It was our spiritual foundation + extreme FAITH in extreme circumstances + LOVE (not romantic, not for kids, but for one another & for GOD).
Certainly there will be those whose adv is contrary (like my mother). . . But imagine experiencing ups & downs, failures & success, the unimaginable -- with someone & U can & will cont 2 confess your luv & loyalty to them & he/she towards U. Can U imagine . . tis hard, difficult, and unimaginable, but it is the reality God had in mind when he'd created Eve from Adam's rib. . .

Money is very important, and someone state it is not, they are lying. If the bills are not getting paid, it causes stress. Also, when you want to hang out with family members and going Christmas shopping and you don't have the money it also cause stress. So yes you have to have money to have some happiness. It doesn't bring all happiness though.

Yes...
Lack of money is the cause of much stress and often separations,
break-ups, divorces and infidelity...
Young attractive women should always seek out older mature men
with money, education, good prospects, future, family money, houses, cars, good credit, credit cards etc. etc..
