Honestly I don't celebrate Christmas because its origins are from pagan celebrations. So, no. I realize some people see nothing wrong with that. I do honor Jesus by commemorating his death as he expressed he wants his disciples to do during "the last supper," as some people call it.

But I do enjoy the cheerful music while I'm at the mall. I actually feel sorry for people who feel obligated to buy expensive items to meet people's expectations. Even as a child I didn't feel left out. Our family always did kind of what another answerer said by getting each other spontaneous gifts throughout the year as the need or desire arose. It was very special and it still is.

No, I don't buy Christmas gifts. In my family we more or less have Christmas everyday. If we need something or just see something that we want, and we have the money for it, we get it. It doesn't matter what the date is. We don't buy gifts for any occasion.

I never buy Christmas gifts. Save your money and treat yourself, it is what people do for most of the year anyway.
