Alot of the technology was taken from "Linux". I tested all three beta versions and they were really slow. When I installed the final version IE7 it damn near drained all of my resources. I even turned off the phishing device and this still did not make a difference. Plus I run Windows XP Pro., which is a heavy program in itself.
My advise to you is to remove IE7 and you will get an automatic roll back to IE6 which I did out of frustration with IE7 and now I have all my resources back and running at full speed.

There are a number of programs that execute with IE 7. I found that it caused problems with my office applications. I have removed it and things are back to normal. One would think the MSFT could come up with a program that would function properly when first provided. Sadly, this has not been the case for its applications.

If you have a dial-up internet connection then maybe that's the reason for it running slowly.
Generally, it is said that it works better with a broadband connection.
If you do have a broadband connection then maybe you have to filter or delete cookies.

the shown truth that you install IE7 and your computer is now sluggish may nicely be indicative of a corrupt installation. To uninstall purely flow into upload/get rid of courses contained in the administration Panel and uninstall the utilising. this may roll the installation decrease back to IE6. searching on the position u downloaded the improve, you also could have secret agent ware on the device so check out any suspicious third party applications and uninstall them to boot.
