Hello Friend!
You should not worry about this. I have the same case like you. I have undergone the same hydrocele operation 3 years before. Don't worry it is only normal.

Normally testicle is surrounded by a loose bag of membranes having multiple layers.collection of fluid (NOT semen) in this bag ( due to various reasons ) is called hydrocele. It has nothing to do with testicle inside. During surgery, the fluid is drained by giving a small nick in the bags. Testicle is not manipulated during surgery. So, due to drainage of excess fluid, reduction in size is bit natural. Left testicle normally hangs lower than right one. So please make sure that you r not confusing lower position with increased size. If you do not pain at the site, or u r not having fever, then it is likely that nothing is wrong with you. Also you should pay follow up visits to your surgeon as directed by him.

My deceased husband had the hydrocel surgery and he had some swelling and bruising but it all went well. I think you should have it checked out. May be some infection starting and you do not want to go there.
