Kadima is an Israeli political party, the strongest one, so it's understandable if people think you're Jewish.

The names Enoch, Rebecca, and Josephine have their origins in Hebrew. Tabitha is from the Aramaic (the ancient language of the Jews).

So, now you understand.

"Kadima" means "forward", or "ahead" in Hebrew.

John, Josephine, Enoch and Rebecca are of a clear Hebrew origin (and thus are more likely to be mistaken as Jewish). John comes from the Hebrew name Yochanan, Josephine is a feminine form of the Hebrew name Yosef, Enoch comes from the Hebrew name Chanoch and Rebecca comes from the Hebrew name Rivkah.
Tabitha is Aramaic, a very close lenguage to Hebrew that was spoken by Jews in ancient times.

I must to admit that I would also think you're Jewish.

Not particularly. The name Kadima does not suggest to me any national or ethnic origin -- haven't seen it before. (If I had to guess, I'd suppose southeast Europe.) Of the given names, only Rebecca impresses me as being possibly Jewish, and of course it has been used by many non-Jews.

In the USA, a name sounded Jewish if it's in the following language or sounded like it:

- Hebrew. But if the name has been derived so much, it no longer sounded Jewish. "Michael" for example no longer sounded Jewish.

- German

- Russian

- An eastern europe language

- A Semitic language.

"Kadima" does sounded Jewish, or Arabic, or perharps other kind of Semitic languages.

"Enoch" also sounded Jewish.

If anything they sound more early American, like around the 1600-1700's. Definitely not Jewish.
