i think the abuse button should be taken away completely because it`s being abused! i think if people want to complain they should do it by email and explain why they are reporting abuse and that way it can be investigated properly. the violation notices are self automated which makes it too easy and once u get so many violations then ur automatically banned. i used to run my own web site wiv a chatroom inside it and i know how it works. yahoo need to be made aware of this before my head explodes! lol

The problem with rating system sites is that there will always be those that will purposely down vote others to give themselves a better chance of winning or getting voted best. That's most likely the reason why so many innocent questions and answers get flagged as well. The only way to remedy that is with stricter abuse guidelines or a moderator who can they themselves decide whether something is inappropriate. Best luck.

Yes! The abuse button on Questions is being used to ABUSE other users. I cam across "Tallulah" recently. She lost over 100 points by being 'targetted' by someone out to get her. Would not be too bad if she had thousands of points but she was currently on about 150 and had been dropped back from level 2.

Yes definitely!! I think the asker should be able to remove answers that are rude or defamatory. We aren't all the same and if you don't like a question someone asked then shut up! You don't have to answer it. Too many people are bullies and cowards who hide behind their computers to insult people. And too many people answer questions with stupid answers that aren't on topic. If their answers were deleted and points taken off it would correct the behavior.
