How old is the brother. I didn't know we had limits on when you could leave the state.

If it is a full license and not a junior license you should be ok but make sure it is legal to drive under the age of 18 in the state you want to drive to.

No, think you have to have an adult on-board to leave the state and written permission from your parents too because you may not be old enough to drive in the next state. Technically, if you cross state lines you are kidnapping your brother.

Ask your parents and call the police station; they will tell you

You can leave the state now legally, just not driving a car.

You can leave illegally as well as your brother(age, unknown) by crossing either the US/Canada or US/Mexico border, any time, but not by air.
