Myself, my mom and my 8 year old are spending the holiday in Dallas. We looked at the Gaylord Resort Brunch (we thought we might see the ICE show as well or the buffet at the Antares since we are staying at the Hyatt but wondered about some less expensive options.

For food, entertainment, etc. - go with Friday's in the nearby area. For simply good dining - Wymen or Saltgrass Steak - They are good, the food's good, etc.

Just a few miles north of Dallas, in Denton...there is a great bed and breakfast that is serving Thanksgiving. By reservations only. Very intimate atmosphere in a very beautiful setting. The Wildwood Inn. It is on the far south end of Denton, from 635, maybe 35 minutes. Look them up on the web. I think you'll be impressed! http://www.denton-wildwoodinn.com/

Their website says: 11-3 Adults $30, children under 12 $15. If you click on upcoming events it gives the Thanksgiving Dinner menu.
