No, if you have the family together it will be quite fun.
I think that it is sad that some people wait till the week before christmas,
when the house looks so festive with the tree and trimmings.

I don't think it's a bad idea at all. In fact, I think it's a great idea. I know several people, who's family tradition is to put the tree up on Thanksgiving night. Go for it!!!

Since it's a fake tree, you don't have to worry about dry-out. You go right ahead and do just as you please, whatever makes you happy. Personally, I never have the energy to put mine up on Thanksgiving night, but I always put it up the next day or sometime that weekend.

Christmas is a special time of year. No one should tell you when is a good time to put up your christmas tree. I bought an artificial tree just so I could put it up early and enjoy it. Who cares if someone thinks its too early? Do what YOU want to do.

I would think if you enjoy having it up for that long then put it up. If it was a real tree I would suggest waiting an extra week or two so that you don't risk a fire, but since it is fake go ahead and put it up.

Put it up if it is not real. A lot of people do this on Thanksgiving or the day after. It will be a great time with family and freinds. Enjoy.

Yes -- it's too soon. The tree will dry out, lose many needles, and become a severe fire hazard as well as an eyesore. A week ahead is about as far as I would go.

No, if I had my tree I would have it up already. It really puts you in the Christmas mood.
