I know that as you age, it becomes harder to keep up those good looks, but are there anymore?

You are quite correct, no matter what they say, it is a somewhat
difficult to live knowing that good looks are not everlasting. I am
69, and if I could, I would attach a photo taken when I was 34
and comparing it to a recent photo. In fact my 34 year old photo
is in Yahoo "My Photos" and are free for viewing, and the proof
of the pudding lies in that there is no present day photo amongst
the lot. I can‘t be more honest than admitting to this fact. Anyway
there are some advantages, but I am still trying to find them.

YES. As a good looking woman you are a threat to any other woman. And the better looking the other person the less they like you and your good looks.
They say good looking people have good looking friends. Its true in alot of cases because you are bound together by the fact that most other people dont like you. Plus you always feel like people are looking at you and its uncomfortable.
Which is why alot of good looking people are so self conscious because someone is always looking at you. Nicely or otherwise. Being good looking is very difficult the way I see it. And your looks do start to fade and eventually your looks fade and your not as good looking as you once were.

well the advantages and disadvatages that u get when u are good looking come on a par.
t attracts loads of attention ,thats good but also the attention can become annoying, too much and you can be seen as a sex item and not as what you have inside you and nobody values ur personality. also alot of people are jealous so there nasty to you and stuff like that.. everything has its both sides. x

I wouldn't necessarily say it's a disadvantage by being good looking, but it definitely brings on alot of jealousy, rather you're a male or female.

yes, when your good looking all the ugly people over compensate for their ugliness and out rank you. Then you become ugly yourself, but unlike the ugly people you can't over compensate for your new found ugliness because you sit there thinking "I'M PRETTY WHY DON'T YOU TALK TO ME" but with all this in mind i think that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, if your vain then you'll always be outranked cause you're always going to be beautiful, but if your not then you'll always be on top, so does that answer your question.

yes, It can cause problems, women can be really catty around good looking women, they asume they are after their men or they get special favours from the boss. Although this is less the older you get. Men that are good looking can be classed as arrogant. (oh the insecurities of the world).

Umm, I can only think of advantages..but I guess with girls some people automatically think good-looking women are bitches or are self-centered.

some people think that good looking people arne't as smart as the not so attractive out there. so i would think that a disadvantage would be that people think you're dumb. people are shocked at how smart i am:)
