Hmmm... do you really think Americans are stranger than others? Doesn't seem that way to me. I'm an American, and spent five years working in Saudi Arabia. Now there's a culture that is about as different as one can get, but I found the people delightful, and in essence no different from the folks at home. It would be fun if you'd provide additional info as to what sort of strangeness you attribute to us Yanks.

I never really thought Americans as exactly strange. Maybe arrogant but not strange.

depends on what you consider strange. i have a bit of experience having to compare american culture to other cultures from being stationed in several places with my husbands military career. what country are you from and what parts do you consider strange?
