Can't see why there would be. but be considerate and say something before the wedding if you feel strongly about it.

Unless you have knowledge that one is a murderer or currently married, you will be responsible only for your hospital bills and lawyer fees if there is slander involved. If there is true concern rather than living in a TV script, talk to the people and/or vicar now before the ceremony is close...or do you want to be in an unscripted non-televised 5 minute sit-com star with problems?

If you did try stop a wedding then you could be liable for the total cost of the wedding. If you think the wedding should not go ahead then really you should view your thoughts to those concerned before hand

Well if you were just being a pain....chances are you would be removed by a not too happy usher, but if you had proof that either the bride or groom were married then the ceremony would be stopped.

If you have a genuine objection (eg, one of the partners is already married) the weddding would be stopped.
If you are just being facetious the groom is likely to kick you from the Church all the way back home!

No financial obligation, but I bet the Groom will not be too happy with you!!!Good luck. PS let us know if you manage to stop it. Sure would like to know how you get on.

Unless you have a legitimate reason for doing it,don't, because the vicar has to stop proceedings and investigate-it's a legal requirement.

If your objection is on legal grounds,i.e.one of the couple is still legally married to some-one else, then you should notify the authorities before- hand.If it's a personal matter, then it would be a low, spiteful thing to do.Think carefully of the consequences to your own well-being before you do anything rash.

No, you're asked why you dont think it should go ahead and then the bride and groom or vicar (or whoever!)decide wether or not to continue.

If they do continue, I'd get outta there pretty fast if I were you, you wont be welcome at the reception anyway!

It depends on what you say.
If, for example, you said "She's already married", I don't see how the service could continue without it being checked.
Oh wait a minute, the church and religion are full of hypocrisy, so it doesnt actually make any difference.
