Met a guy through the personals and we wrote notes every day for over a month and then met and have been going out for 2 1/2 months and been intimate a couple of times.
He recently booked a 4 day cruise for us [one cabin room].....and didn't tell me until he had already made the arrangements.
What does this mean and should I consider going?
He could always take someone else if I don't go and he wouldn't loose any $$ ?? Right?

First of all, If you don't feel comfortable going on the cruise with this man DON'T. Listen to your gut instincts. They will never lead you astray.
Second of all, if he made plans for you without discussing them first then he is the one that made the mistake.
Sure he might be trying to be romantic but a little consideration would have been nice when planning a cruise that he expects you to join him on.
If he loses money, so be it.
Be honest and discuss your hesitation with him.
Good luck.

First, ask yourself if you trust him, if not, tell him you can't go with him and give him time to find someone else to go with. If you do trust him go have fun, some of the cabins are bunk beds anyway. Do you like him? enjoy being with him?, if not then don't lead him on by going, if so, go and have fun! Can you afford your own cabin on the same cruise? It is very cheap to get a cabin the day of sailing, they want to fill up the ship. Good Luck in whatever you decide.

i think it is hard for outsiders to judge the status of a relationship...2 1/2 months can be long enough to feel you really love someone or to some people its barely long enough to call a relationship... you should decide where you are in the relationship in your mind and if you feel comfortable after thinking about it like that then go for it and enjoy yourselves

It PROBABLY means that he was trying to be romantic and wanted to surprise you.

Should you consider going? Well, do you enjoy being with him? Do you like cruises?

Yes, he COULD always take someone else...IF he knows someone else who would consider going. But it's doubtful.

Will.I would be upset that he did not discuss this with me,as I may have other things planned.
Second,do you feel safe with him,to go somewhere else away from home.if you answer yes, than go ahead and have fun.........cruises are very romantic :)
Take care

I really dont think it would really matter. First, you did went to bed with him. Whats the difference?? except for the boat and sea, its definitely the same thing. It's just probably his way of making things interesting for the two of you. If you are not interested in him you never should have slept with him in the first place.

Why not go and see what happens. Have fun, if it's a disaster that means it's time to move on. If he goes with some one else he may move on.

Um, HELLO!!! You have crossed the "intimacy" barrier all ready. Why would you think he'd ask you if it was all right? Why don't you use protection, enjoy the cruise and his company, and accept responsibility for your actions?! Lighten up and enjoy yourself!!

Maybe it was supposed to be a last minute surprise. At any rate, if you don't feel comfortable with the idea then tell him so. You still have a choice.
