I have to sometimes for my own good. For me, it is better to fight the battle on the front end than deal with the results of giving in.

no i changed my behavior to allow my "true" nature to emerge. fear breeds contempt and hatred leading to many atrocities in the name of "human nature" this is a false premise. fear is unnatural, a state of dis-ease caused by other people. we instill fear in children to "protect" them, don't do it encourage bravery and inquisativeity. let the human spirit soar unburdened.
