Yes..I am half Greek and half French
I have embraced my Greek heritage while not really caring about the French.
While growing up my Greek family was caring and helpful and always there for you when you needed them...
The French side of my family were nothing but a bunch of gossiping backstabbers...so I really wanted nothing to do with them(still don't).
I'm not saying I deny that part of my heritage...It's just that there is so much more history with the Greeks and they are more interesting(in my opinion anyway). Most of what we know today came from them.
So I can relate to you...
But...
Latinas and The British both have rich historys that are worthy of learning about...you should feel lucky to be part of two cultures that have helped mold our society.

Yes. It's really frustrating at times because even though I live in the USA and I love it here, I'd like to go back. You see my family is here so it's going to be extremely hard when I go back there. I am going to miss my family while living in the place I feel most comfortable in. Why can't we just have both? :(
