how do i do this? how do i pay?

i wanna get my own domain but how much would it cost me in total for a month[the first time]. lets say its the first time im paying. i would like my own site but i want to know how much itll cost in TOTAL?

there are many hosting companys out there, most of them require a fee for registering a name, and the the fee for the hosting package you choose. one of my favorites is http://www.ehostpros.com they have excellent service and tech support check them out for pricing and such
