This is a very intriguing and interesting question. The question exceeds the capacities of 95% of the people who will respond to you.
Feminist arguments toward equality can never be considered reasonable because at the center of all "feminist" principles is gender. Gender centrism is as destructive and imbalanced as the male dominated social structure that feminists seek to over turn.
Feminism is not about equality for all humanity. It is not about justice for all either. It is about special treatments and considerations for one of the largest segments of American citizens.
True equality can only be achieved when we become blind to gender, age, ethnicity, socio economic standing, political position, etc. These dynamics can NEVER occur in a capitalistic democracy like the United States.
Feminists demand that GENDER consideration be placed first and foremost in all social thinking.
A simple example of where feminism crosses the line involves the '90's wherein feminists and the ACLU demanded that all male schools be made open to women. They succeeded, however, the same group of feminists (and the ACLU) also demand that women be allowed to attend all female schools because "women need a non-competitive" learning environment free of male influences. How can an all female school be acceptable and legal for women but an all male school for men not?
You see the illogic: Feminists don't want true equality. They seek special treatment.
Feminists in their own way are no different than the KKK in that they insist that their own special interests and beliefs must reign supreme over common sense and true equality. Minority special interest political groups have the ability to be terribly disruptive in our country.
Read Alan Bloom's "The Closing of the American Mind" if you would like to see the enduring damage that feminism has brought to America.
Feminism has brought some good things too and that should not be overlooked nor discounted. What IS important is that you see the whole picture and not just small patches of the American scene.

Feminism is simple- all the feminists want is equality as far as basic human rights are concerned. If a male hairdresser makes 25 dollars an hour then so should a female hair dresser. Equal pay, health benefits, opportunities for careers etc. Women who are stay at home types should not feel that they have to work- but turn the tables. If a man chooses to stay home and let the woman go to work and he in turn needs to spend her money how would he feel? I can't imagine having to ask for someone elses money all the time!
I am so tired of hearing stay at home females whine about how they should collect social security. They do not pay into it! Maybe the working mother should ask for two social security payments as they work in the home and raise their children and out of the home at a job! How can any women feel that it is a job to take care of their home and raise a family? I always felt being a parent was a privilege! Besides-what happens when your children are grown and you have no experience in the work world and no pension that YOU PAID into. Do you actually believe your husband needs to pay you and take care of you? Talk about females losing their identity! Marriage is an equal partnership right down the middle as far as responsibilities go. Ok , if you need to stay home awhile with your children that's fine. However, the man can do it too if he wants! It should all balance out in the end.Take turns or whatever.

First, how is feminism defined?
When you look up the definition in google, most of the answers are geared around the advocacy of equality.
Women want the same freedom of rights that all humans should have. The right to be paid the same rate as the next person performing the same duties. The right to fair justice. Today, people use feminism like its an ugly word. It isn't. Its meaning was distorted along the way because history was forgotten. A little under a hundred years ago, women were treated as second class citizen in North America. Today, in many countries, women are treated horribly. Women's fight for equality helped pave the way for equality for minority groups today. Women do not want to be men. They just want the freedom to be who they are without oppression.

It depends on the group. A lot of feminists are too pushy. Others are just trying to get paid the same as guys. Sure they are reasonable. Just put yourself in a women's shoes and think about how you would feel knowing that for most of however long we've been settled and not nomads you've been put down. They just don't know where to stop sometimes. We can be as equal as...possible without having the whole guy's being stronger thing get in the way. You can't say they're equal then put them in a wrestling match together...trust me it isn't going to work.

Today's feminist is completely different from that of 30 years ago; and not in a good way. Today's feminist believes a woman SHOULD work outside the home; not choose. They believe a woman SHOULDN'T be married but instead have multiple lovers; not choose.
Back in the day they fought for choice, now they fight against anything that is considered moral or right. It's too bad that they use that power for anything but good and so they are discredited a whole lot.

feminists at large, the bra-burning, maureen-down-worshipping idiots don't want equality, they just want something to whine about.
a REAL feminist is reasonable, in that she merely wants to be able to choose what her life is like. a real feminist won't demand exact equality with men, because they realize that men and women are different creatures - these women just want to know that they can go as far as they can.
but, really, unless society itself is completely overhauled, there will be no equality. it's a male-dominated society, and in a male-dominated society, the only way to become dominant is to behave like a male.

feminist arguments towards equality are reasonable, but it cannot be forced into for doing that the other sect would feel the oppression.

Feminist views are a load of *****. Women already have equality. What they want is female dominance over male slaves.
