People today suck ...too wrapped up in there own selfish lives to give a crap nowadays.
Back in the day it was all peace, love and harmony and people cared for one another.
And the kids have it so bad ...they could never relate to it anyway.

It depends on the individual circumstance. There are times when I approach Mom/Dad for help, and there times when only a friend will do. Different friends for different issues.
