Is it fair that Prince William gets to be king and I don't?
Is it fair to everyone else in the UK that their tax dollars go to support a family of unelected morons?
Life isn't fair. From where I'm sitting, Prince William is one of the luckiest of us.

Black has nothing to do with it, Catholic does. The British monarch is not allowed to be married to a Catholic or to become a Catholic. The British monarch is the head of the Anglican Church so this is perfectly logical and not at all racist. If he choses to marry a Catholic, one of the consequences is that he will lose his right to the throne, that would all be part of his decision, then Harry would become king. But I thought his girlfriend was Anglican?

No it's not fair. I mean it's not like the spouse would ever come to power as the Queen of England, just Queen Consort. And it's especially not fair to not erase the no Catholics law if they are going to ease up on Charles getting married to a divorcee. I mean people, you can't become King or Queen if you marry someone who has been married before.

Well do you think The Prince should be discriminating against all these white beauties? That should be even more insulting than racism. Who ever told you that life would be fair, it is what you get, and what you do with it that counts. .

Sorry, what does race have to do with it? There is no bar to him marrying a woman of any colour. lt is generally agreed that the bar on marrying Catholics is wrong - the Scottish parliament and two peers raised this a few years ago - but since his girlfriend is Protestant it is a moot point.

So maybe he should marry her to avoid getting the throne.
I am sure he can afford not to be king and being King in the UK is not that good compared to other countries where the royal family is respect and earns that respect.

Good. He should lose the right to the throne. It's tradition. If you don't like it, leave. When you try to change everything to fit YOUR mold of the way things should be,
you destroy it. Then you say 'gee, what happened to the royal family' seemingly perplexed!!!

Of course not, but anti-Catholicism is the last acceptable prejudice. Believe me, black or white, if she's a Catholic she hasn't a chance.
