My Dad is so into music!

No, I don't think that's true. It's a pretty broad generalization to make to assume that men with children don't like music. My dad is a retired music teacher, so of course he loves it. But I think it depends on the man's upbringing, tastes, culture, etc., as to whether he is into music.

No- that's not true. I go to all kinds of concerts with my Dad. Sure we don't love all the same music but we have common ground. Eagles, Paul Simon, Doobie Brothers, and everyone loves the Beatles.

Interesting question. Come to think of it, I know quite a bunch of middle aged men who I've never seen show any interest in music. My uncles, my friends' fathers... I don't think they're in majority though.
Mine is not into music. Nobody has ever heard him sing, not even as a kid (my grandmother told me that) and his taste in music is very limited. He thinks most music is just annoying noise.

They probably just aren't into today's music...and I don't really blame them.
My dad did nothing but listen to music. He loved it......he was also a musician.

Wow... such a general question is difficult to answer! I can't speak for everyone, but my dad sure loves music... maybe dads just aren't as vocal about who they listen to.

No. It just seems that way because most people's dad are not into the crap played on the radio today. They like the crap that played on the radio when they were your age.
