You have two kids and a husband, and you want some advice on getting organized? I have a daughter who also have two kids and a husband, and she does not know a thing about organizing her daily chores, with two kids you have to be picking after them when they make a mess and it is hard work to be doing it. You have to ask your husband to help you out a little in telling your oldest to pick up his toys or any mess he makes, sometimes you have to give the kids a pat on the head when they help you out a little. when the youngest sees the oldest doing that he will start to do that too. Or if you think that is not going to work, make a list of the chores you do everyday and when you start with the first one follow with the second one and so on, before you know it your house will be clean and you will feel better. Most of my friends hate doing housework, but it's a duty that has to be done, so for me I always do it automatically and I do not get bored doing the same thing over and over, Have been doing it for 48 yrs. and I have 7 kids all married, and a husband that was a good provider but not a helper in the housework. I hope that I helped you in some way. Good luck and give your kids all your love because before you know it they will be all grown-up

it's always a challenge to be organized especially if you're the only one doing it.

you can try to start organizing one room at a time.

prioritize the room that you think needs organization or you can do the least clutterred room ( ihope you have one)

you will need the ff things:
boxes (cardboard or plastic)
permanent markers
labelmakers (optional)
big trash bags
containers of all sizes ( decorative or clear plastic bins)

cleaning aids:
vacuum
rags
mop & dustpan
bucket
h20
multipurpose cleaner
a timer

your boxes should have these labels outside
keep
donate
trash
needs repair/mending

once you figure out what room are you gonna organize try to sort all your things inside that room.if it's a closet or cupboard take your things per shelves/drawers and put them in the appropriate bin or box. then clean it.

you may do it from top to bottom, left to right, right to left whatever works for you.

time yourself when doing these say 15 minutes so you won't linger in one shelf or drawer.

when your done with sorting things make sure to throw away the trash, have the goodwill pick up your donations, give your keep things a home puit them in containers, boxes, plastic clear bins, old suitcases. the one that needs mending/repair if you can do it, set a time to do it, but if not have a professional do it for you.

once you organize that one room then move to another.

explain to your kids what they need to do after their playtime so they will remember to put back their things.
that goes to your husband too.

remember to put back things you use in their own place.

if you have time to read you can try reading this book which helped me a lot it's available in the local library.Organizing: Plain & Simple by Donna Smallin

good luck.

I've four children (9, 6, 4, &1) and the best advice I have to give is not to expect a perfect house 24/7. It's a near impossibility. Instead, allow yourselves to have a "lived in" look. I also recommend assigning each room it's own day for a thorough cleaning as well as having daily chores to be done.
For example, do at least one load of laundry a day as well as a load of dishes. Assign kids bedrooms to be cleaned over the weekend or assign the kitchen for the weekend to ensure you've plenty of helpers. This way, the work is broken down, and once you've "caught up", keeping it that way won't be so bad.
Good Luck!
