What kind of help would you like? I have an unusual situation, in that I used to be very large and now I'm normal. What this means is that I know about two things:

1. Dressing yourself by shopping plus size store (you may be plus size as a man)

and,

2. How to create a wardrobe out of nothing after gastric bypass surgery.

Seriously, maybe I can help. Write me at LauraMcB@comcast.net.

First, there are plenty of great websites for Crossdresseres that can point you in the right direction in selecting and sizing. I listed a few here. Take a ride to the local mall and study what regular women are wearing. You want to dress comparable to that so you don't stand out. Best way to 'pass' is to blend in.

As far as going out and purchasing the items, there are some retailers that are open to the idea in selling women's fashions to men (to wear) and will allow the use of a 'fitting' room. You can always purchase the items via mail order as well in case you are worried.

You will also find that there are thrift-shops around that will also have no problem in selling women's clothing to a man.

Look at it like this, it is no crime anywhere in the U.S. for a man to buy and wear women's clothing.

So go out and enjoy yourself.

TIPS:
1. don't pile on the make-up.. it simply looks fake.. go for a more natural look
2. don't get overly dressed up for casual situations... you want to look great but not scream "hey.. look at me".
3. clothing is always picked for body type... what looks good on someone else may not look good on you. It's impossible to pick clothing for someone you haven't seen nor have an idea structure.
