This was too good to pass up--Lets see how well do "I" know horses---I have to say that I have had a hand in this subject the better part of 50 years But the best part is that I learn more each and every day--my logic with life in general is this YOU NEVER STOP LEARNING TILL THE DAY YOU DIE--lets face it how boring would it be if you knew everything?? So its safe for me to say that I know more about horses than some folks and less than others--that's life and I like it that way--

I have been around horses for the past 12 years of my life. Owned 4 (currently 1). Used to pasture horses for people who didnt have the land to accomodate them, until I started buying my own. Worked with everything from mules, to standardbreds, to paints, to walking horses, to draft crosses.

Well that is a pretty broad question Ashley. Great riders are not always great overall horsemen. People that breed and raise horses may not be great riders. I have seen many a good rider be at a total loss when it comes to putting on a trailer bandage and many a breeder be uncomfortable in the saddle.

Are you talking in the biblical sense? In that case no. Are you talking about owning horses, caring for horses day and night for years, riding and training horses? In that case, I know horses well.

Enough to know that if a cart horse stands on your foot it hurts. It is rather a stupid question.
