Give it all away

2006-11-18 06:26:29 · answer #1 · answered by Grit Savage 4 · 1 1

When a person has enough money to buy everything,he has `long since `actually used money. He would use a plastic card or a paper cheque but never use money. It stays in the bank and accumulates interest. So if he had never before given any away or used it for the good of others, I doubt that he would ever, he would leave it in the bank with the rest.Compassion is a state of mind, you give even if you can`t afford to, not because you have a surplus.

That's a flawed question. It's not possible for one person to be in that position. First, there are always news things and services that are created and needed on an ongoing basis. If you were that rich, for example, you'd certainly be paying lots of people to help you manage your stuff and your money -- you would need that, and it would never end.

Second, there are other humans on the planet, right? If someone bought everything, that would deprive the other people of things they need. In that vacuum, they would certainly create things they need -- which means there will immediately be more stuff again that you haven't bought yet.

Same thing to always do with money.

Put it to use wisely. The more money you have, the more effort required to put it to use wisely.

This is why winning a big lottery often boggles a person into disarray. It's a bit like "tag you're it". You think you'll know what to do with it, until you realize how applying your own sense of responsibility to handling money was always constantly relevant.

if you had bought everything possible on earth, the concept of money would be pointless. if you own everything, nothing would be traded, thus no need for money

Keep purchasing daily essentials, as we always seem to run out of something or another. Invest it, put it towards a retirement savings plan, donate some to charitable organizations.

well, if you've bought everything there is to buy, start helping out the poor. If you have everything, help other people out. Lot's of hungry people out there.

You use it to settle scores with everybody who's ever annoyed you, and crush their puny hopes and dreams into the dust whilst laughing demonically. Then you rule all lesser men with a rod of iron and bend them to your will, and make them dance for their paypackets whilst you smile beatifically from your throne of gold. Well I would anyway but then I'm a misanthrope.
