What are 5 things you hate in a game?

Mine is....
1.Backtracking-hate going back into areas i already went through.
2.Time limits-its annoying.
3.Escorts-the escorts are usually dumb and get killed.
4.Solo-Always doing a mission by myself gets lonely.
5.Search-finding something or someone without any map or arrow.

1. 15 minute cut-scenes with no "pause" or "skip" option, especially right before a difficult boss battle.

2. Unclear overhead maps, where the flashing arrow just kind of hovers about noncommittally, giving you no idea where you're supposed to go.

3. Optional bosses that are hundreds of times stronger than the actual final boss, to the point where if you level yourself up enough to beat the optional boss, you can usually take out the "traditional" boss in one or two hits.

4. Being forced to invite a weak, useless member to join your party for the sake of nothing other than advancing the story.

5. Spending hours upon endless hours breeding birds or dodging lightning bolts to obtain a character's ultimate weapon, only to find out it really isn't that great after all.

1. Poorly designed UI / controls!!!
2. Games that aren't optimized well / require more system resources than they are worth.
3. Games that are just a re-skin of a different game / not original
4. Bad AI
5. Intrusive copy protection placed on the disks by the publisher that don't stop illegal copying, it just fouls up the system of a legitimate gamer (SecuRom anyone??)

1. having to tell the members of my squad what to do, like in a shooting game
2. Not having voice overs for characters, i hate reading
3. not many weapons, like in gears of war or resident evil 4
4. games that u cant skip cutscenes, annoying as hell
5. turn based combat sucks, oh i am going to hit u with my sword now i let u hit me then i hit u again then u hit me.
