I am listing mine for $1050--why do people pay this much?
To re-sell? Or play?

Because they have kids, and too much money for their own good. I expect a lot of these people buying off ebay actually want the console.

Because they are idoits and can't live without it. I wanted one but didnt get one and im fine with waiting like foru weeks till it comes back out in stores again. Right now my only working system is my PSP and im still just waiting for the PS3 to come back in store. Theres no point in buying it at twice the price at what it normally goes for.
