I have to disagree with a few of the above statements. Matt: They're putting them in a match together to see if they still generate fan approval. If all goes well you can expect to see jeff traded to smackdown for batista. Undertaker and Kane need a tag team to push that people will buy in a match against, and the hardy's (if they can keep it together) are "team xtreme" and people would buy them challanging and even in the off occasion beating the brothers of destruction.
Libra: Kane and undertaker are best left as single competitors. They've tried powerhouse teams like kane and the big show, undertaker and the big show, Kane and undertaker (previously), the APA and TnA (test and albert) They're sorta like freak of nature teams, there's not much action involved just a bunch of slow power moves followed by a pin. The crowd gets tired of that quickly.
In response to the original question I must say The Hardy's would be a great asset if they still have the chemistry in the ring, but they've been singles competitors far too long, they'll need some time before they get back into tag ranks again.

They will be on the same side at Survivor Series but they said they won't be properly reuniting until Wrestlemania 23
