I have a 1987 Buick Lesabre.The fusebox went out and it was causing a shortage to the#20 amp fuse that goes to the fuel pump and injectors.The mechanic put a brand new fusebox put on and the fuse still blows.Before the fuse was blown you turn the ignition and you can hear the fuel pump but once you get everything connected and back together you turn the ignition and the fuse blows.What could be the problem?Every single time you turn the ignition switch the fuse blows can anyone tell me the problem?First the mechanic tell me it was fusebox it was bad which it was so i bought a new one from the dealership.Car still not working and I am still haing the same problems as I was before.The fuse keeps blowing out.

because somewhere it is going direct to ground, The fuse is doing what it is souposed to do. Have a fun day

Sounds like you still have a short somewhere. Could be the wire going to the fuel pump.
