I heard that ever since Stephen King has been famous, he hires writers to write books for him. Is that true? since when?

Apparently he still does, though he writes some of them in collaboration with others, or even under a different name.

Stephen King doesn't hire other writers. He still writes his own and, ever since being hit by a hit and run driver, he's been concentrating more on what he wants to write rather than what editors expect him to turn out. His new book has more introspection and less horror.

There are authors who sell their name, but King is not one of them. Look for more quality from King and not more of the same.

Love the flicks, under no circumstances been waiting to get into his books. yet Stephen King's On Writting, is astounding. It provides an perception at the back of his warped techniques and a lot of advice for uplifting writers.

Yeah he does as if you read his early works and then his latest ones, you can see the resembalance. You can also see that after his accident where he was nearly killed, his books tended to change. Its hard to explain, he makes more mentions about his fans in a negative way. Also if youve ever seen him act, or even heard him talk (before his accident) you can see how this man would get those crazy ideas for stories.

I have never heard that before, but it does make sense. I can't see how anybody can come up with that many novels and short stories. It probably takes longer to write one of those thick novels than it does to read. I don't see how he would have any time left to do anything else.
