When i open a webpage, at the bottom left-hand side says "downloading pictures" until the page has all the pictures in it. Does that count to my limited download? What if someone sends me an attachment to my e-mail?

Can one tell me what actually does not count and does not reduce my download limit?

it's not so much download limit as monthly usage being it download or upload. so if you download a picture yourself it will count towards it, if you upload a picture on an email attachment for example, then that counts towards your usage limit as well. BT's limits for option 1 i think is 2gb per month, even if you do go over the limit every now and again- BT don't penalise you for it.

Streaming videos, particularly Hi definition ones contribute a very high usage. Also check if some neighbors are using your hub to connect to broadband.
