Wow diamonds are ALWAYS a girl's best friend. However a bunch of roses is extremely touching and shows you care. However sexy underwear is a big no no! Give her the cash and send her shopping so she can choose her own. Hate to say this but men make such bad mistakes when buying underwear!
PS: With that said I'll settle for a bunch of flowers picked from my own garden!

Diamonds are still very much a girls best friend. Always have been and always will be
However if she loves you she would settle for roses and sexy underwear providing that the next girft your promised to buy her were diamonds

Some girls will and some girls wont it all depends on your choice of ladies - personally I would like red roses but if a guy is flashing the cash then who knows I would like the diamond as the magic bullet.
If this is the right lady for you then go for it with the big sparkler she wont settle for second best.

Diamonds are ALWAYS a girls best friend. Take it from a girl. But, as any girl will say, its definately the thought that counts, so get her a bunch of roses along with whatever else you had on your mind. ;) She has probably been praying that you got her something, and she'll be extremely excited that you did!

Who decided that women should want diamonds? Personally I have no use for them. Boring white stones. Flowers are nice- if you like flowers. Sexy underwear is find if she likes them. Don't just buy something you think she should like. Find out her interests and buy something related to them. Show her that you listen to her and know her. And a gift should not be an obligation. If you are only giving a gift because you think you have to -- forget it. We can tell when there was no thought involved.

Diamond, roses, underwear, they're all material and don't really matter. Love is the best gift you can give and if you want to give out of that well give something to her that has a lot of meaning behind it

As the song says 'diamonds are a girls bestfriend' but it all depends on the girl does it not.
But diamonds do say best friend as they are expensive
Roses say romance
Sexy underwear obviously means sex lol
So depends on the reason lol. but another cliche could be used 'Its the thought that counts'

I do have a lot of diamonds, but I like simplicity.....A bunch of loverrrly Lilies/ freesias. Fine for me.
However, since u spoke about gems.....i would not mind a set of Marcasite jewellery.....these are more precious to me than a diamond stud.
