thas about the most unrealistic movie about snakes there are. pythons do lay eggs and boas have live birth except a couple of speceis of sand boas they lay eggs as well. pythons when laying eggs will make a small nest lay eggs and then pretty much forget about them they have no maternal or paternal part in there lives after laying or giving birth. males will rub against a female untill she gives in and turns her tail over to the male and lets him get under her tail to do his thing. by the way the anacondas in this movie are a type of boa (live birth) ther not venomous either
