for your mother-in-law? i really like mine(not in-law but close enough)

well for the first 3 years we hated each other she insisted i was the devils spawn, and was pissed cuz i took her baby from the nest.
he finally told her he couldnt deal with the crap anymore and they didnt speak or see each other for about 3 months, his choice, i didnt ask or tell him to do it.
finally she called me while he was at work and left a message on our machine, she was crying and said it was urgent and needed to talk to one of us. i called her back and she asked if i could make a pot of coffee and me and her have a talk, i was still ticked at her and told her that i didnt think she needed to come and enjoy the devils brew, meaning my coffee, she laughed and said thats what she needed to talk to me about.
we ended up talking 6 hours and she was still here when he got home from work way after midnight. the first words out of his mouth was is dad ok? we laughed and told him he is fine and we just had a girls night in.
me and jewels have been best friends every since and everything is good now
so the short of it is not at first now yes.

Now I love my mother in law. I make time for her when she has the time. She is a very busy lady....Emailing her daily is about all we can do.

well the closest i came to a mother in law (when i was supposed to move itn whith an ex) i hated her so much!! she was interfearing, controlling, over protective and tried to rule my life. me and the guy broke up. i told him to get off his mothers hand and try thinking for himself

Nearly 3 years and I have never met her!!! Yes I would have time if she didn't live 250 miles away!!

I wish I did....... but she passed away from cancer before I met him.... but I always encourage him to visit her grave and take flowers
