I would like to find a web site where I can set up a small personal site for free which would just have info about me and an email address that I could use?

Myspace is good but Facebook is better. Myspace can be pretty complicated and can run really slow. Facebook is an easy site with the information that you want to share with people in your network and your friends.

you can use yahoo "geocities"
www.geocities.com and use readymade templates for creating ur website or u may either create your own designs and use that as ur website.

Don't bother with free web hosts, they all suck, and give you no bandwidth, I use GoDaddy.com, basic service is $3.99 a month, with good bandwidth and great service.
