Well it wasnt that I didnt like it at all, but there were many parts when it looked so stupid, as that one when Lestat bites Louis and then takes him up flying, that looked really stupid. And the performances werent so good, the ones I enjoyed the most were Kirsten Dunst's (in the whole movie) and Tom Cruise's (sometimes), but for example, Antonio Banderas was awful in this movie, well actually I just liked him in "Philadelphia".
Oh, please, and someone tell me what did it mean the conversation between Lestat and the interviewer at the very end of the movie, in the car?

Thank you, and sorry for the long question

I didnt mean that there were a real conversation between them, but at the very end Lestat does speak to the interviewer or Daniel, whatever his name is, when Daniel was listening to the tape of Louis.
And, I am a girl too, totally straight, and I also love Brad and Tom, their look, but I cant say the same about their performances, it's my personal opinion, I am just evaluating their work not their looks. But thank you for your answers.

I kind of like Interview With the Vampire but it isn't one of my favorites. I was in high school when it came out on theaters and I loved it back then. The older I get, the quality of this movie goes down. I agree that Kirsten Dunst's acting was better than all the others. If I catch it TV, I usually sit down and watch it. It has been so long since the last time I've seen it, I can't remember what the conversation is about.

If you haven't read it already, you need to read the book. The book is absolutely wonderful. I love the whole series of the Vampire Chronicles.

The conversation at the end of the movie between Lestat and Daniel never happened. Kirsten Dunst and Antonio Banderas were too old to play their respective parts. The movie wasn't bad, but it did not do justice to the story. If you really want to know what the story is about, read the book.

I haven't watched it in a while, but I loved it. If you have enough interest in understanding it better, read the book by Anne Rice. It'll make more sense then. I'm a girl though...so Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise with long hair and as vampires is fun for me to watch. I didn't feel that their performances were awful. The movie was made a while ago, so the effects aren't going to be as good as they are in movies now. I don't exactly remember the ending conversation, I think he bit the reporter. He couldn't let him let anyone know what he told him or something.

I liked that movie. It was so sexual!!! Don't get me wrong, I'm not into vampires or death but that movie was just really sexy. You're right about the acting, it wasn't their best. But then again, when you're grossing so much in movie sells you don't have to act well. Just look at how much money Madonna pulls in when she does a film.

Anyway, the ending scene, Lestat used the reporter as a therapist. He needed to free his conscious a bit and then turned and killed the guy. He didn't want his story to get out, but he felt so much better and younger afterwards.

It was ok, i kind dug it cuz it put a different spin on the whole Vampire realm. If memory serves right, he bit the reporter so that way he would have a companion, just as Tom Cruise bit him. But it has been a while since seeing it so could be wrong..

The movie was alright, but yes, for all the great actors that were in it some sh*tty acting was done. Kirstin Dunst did the best and she was the youngest. 8-)

YES-I LOVE THE MOVIE I THOUGHT TOM CRUISE WAS LESTAT.HE TOOK THAT PART AND MADE IT HIS.HE READ THE BOOK AND LEARN JUST WHAT LESTAT WAS ALL ABOUT.EVEN THOUGH ARMAND WAS REALLY SUPPOSE TO
BE ONLY 17 ANTONIO BANDERAS PULLED THE PART OFF REALLY WELL IN MY OPINION.ARMAND WAS RATHER SMUG AND HE SHOWED THAT IN HIS PERFORMANCE.I WOULD SUGGEST YOU READ THE BOOK AND MAYBE YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND THE MOVIE A LITTLE BETTER.
