Norway is considered the best place to raise a family. There is virtually no crime and it is very family oriented. It is also a beautiful country with old quaint fishing towns, and bustling metropolitain areas. The people are very friendly, and language is not a barrier, because most everyone in Norway speaks fluent english.

well everyone knows that the good ole USA is the best place to live. This comes from a world traveler that has been in at least 15 different countries.

It depends what you are looking for.
Freedom/money/entertainment/adventure=USA
Obviously not everyone likes these, so if not there are many other good countries such as Japan, England, Norway, Ireland, Germany, Australia, amongst others are all good places to live.
