I have 6, but I'm not very good at names, so they're currently called:

The male;
The big female;
The little original one;
The pale jumpy one;
The one I got in Blackpool; and
The other one I got in Blackpool.

Maybe I should take some advice from this thread myself...

The only reptile of mine that has a name is my African House Snake, which my sister named. He is called The People's Democratic Republic of Congo...

If I had a gecko, I probably wouldn't call it anything, but I might call for pest control. However, names that come to mind are:
For a girl, Tia or Sapphire.
For a boy, Taz or Ash.

I named mine Herman. Just pick them up and look them in the eye--then you can tell what they look like!
My other pets all got their names the same way:
Mylo
Gizmo
Dexter
Sasha Marie

It depends if it's a boy or a girl. It also depends on their personality too and the color
