why my boot up screen shows : isass.exe-unable to locate component.....app failed to start because LASSRV.dll was not found..reinstall may fix problem....i dun hv windowsxp disk,what should i do.mine is thinkpad R50e ,pls help asap thks alot!!!

Look up that error and look up that file on google....you probably deleted something that this needs to do it. Good luck...Most times the hardware has a website to assist you. Do a search to see that first. Good Luck.

I agree that you might need to reinstall the OS.
If you brought the machine recently, it is right that you do not receive any recovery CD as they had write it into their HDD.
Just need to follow the step to reovery from the HDD.
