If you look into it carefully, we're really not that different. Yes, the brains are are a bit different but no one can tell exactly how different, so it's yet to be discovered where biology (our brain) and environment (how we grew up and were taught) meet ends.
We are brought up differently, depending on the fact that we were born either boy or girl. Boys are often told to stay strong, girls to stay cute, boys are told to build things, girls to take care of others.
This is very much generalizing, but obviously, with these differences we're about to get on our nerves or not understand each other from time to time and over and over again.

Alot of reasons. Mostly, we think differently. Women are taught to be emotional and sensitive as they grow up. Men are taught to be strong and aggressive. Most of the time, we can learn how to communicate properly. Sometimes we can't.

Seriously, they do have different desires, different goals in life, and are treated differently by society, so of course they are going to be BIG differences.

it's simple.
girl in general like shopping, gossiping, and being flirtatious and alluring.
they pretty much just strut around hoping men will like them.
and they only like the guys who seem to be attracted to them.
guys like watching football, drinking beer, playing sports, working.
they don't speak often.... and they do everything they can to preserve their strength, power, and manliness.
the only reason we get together is for sex. otherwise.... you'd see at least some very close same-sex relationships that aren't sexual. that never happens though!
guys don't really need companions in their lives at all, and only seek women to satisfy sexual urges.
same probably goes for women.
but that's life! we need sex! :D
