Now that the Playstation 3 is finally out in the states, do you feel that it was well worth the wait? What is your opinion of the entire game package, control, graphics, sound , various features etc....I will wait a few months to either buy a 360 or a PS3? I just want to wait and see if there will be any bugs in the PS3 before I dish over $600plus dollars. Knowing what you know now, is the PS3 more of a worthy purchase, or a XBOX360. I am not even interested in the Nintendo Wii. This may very well be Nintendo's last major system if Wii doesnt pull them out of the rut they have been in for the last 10 years. Nintendo may have to pull a Sega it looks like.

It appears that many of the people purchasing the new ps3 bought them to resell on ebay for $2000.00 or more each. One went for $13,000.00. There were over 20,000 of them listed on ebay last night. I doubt seriously if many of those waiting in line bought them for their own use. Was it worth the wait for the profit they made on the resale on ebay-sounds like it to me. You sound very sensible to wait for the bugs to be worked out and for the price to become more reasonable.

I don't own a ps3, but I have seen the graphics and they are about the same as other systems. The ps3 has internet capabilities so you can use it like a computer on your T.V. But I don't think running out and dropping 600 bucks for a glorified game system right away is too smart. Wait a few months, after the Christmas rush, and I'll bet the prices drop alot!

I don't own any game systems nor do I want to, but I saw on the news how there was practically a stampede in front of a Best Buy in CA because they only had like 30 Playstation 3s to sell to the huge mob waiting outside. I'm also interested in finding out if those who got one felt like it was worth the struggle.

sure, the PS3 is the most suitable console ever made. -bluray -WiFi -loose on line -actual exclusives (as appose to being waiting to play so said as 360 exclusives on the computer) -Very strong $299 is a very good fee, forget the 360. by this time next three hundred and sixty 5 days not purely might want to the PS3 have overtaken the 360 in sales besides the undeniable fact that it would want to have even extra exclusives and characteristic a 10 three hundred and sixty 5 days existence, similar to its predecessor (the most suitable promoting interest console of all time the PS2)
